Kostova Loses Final
Elitsa Kostova lost the final in Mont-De-Marsan. She fell to Czech inform player Petra Cetkovska 2-6 2-6 and lost her first final in 25,000$ tournament.
Elitsa showed some good tennis throughout the tournament as she beated number 2 seed and 3 seed but in the final round she couldn`t manage the inform tennis of the Czech who won second consecutive 25,000$ tournament in France after she won in Perigueux last week.
From the beginning of the match Cetkovska was controlling the rallies and didn`t give a chance to Elitsa to play her game as she broke her opponent`s serve 4 times and finished her in a little more than an hour.
Kostova, who reached her first final in a 25,000$ tournament, has won 34 points from Mont-De-Marsan but she will earn only 20 as she has reached the quaterfinals here where she again fell in 2 sets to Nika Ozgerovic. Eli will now have a week`s rest and then she will play in the tournament of Contrexeville with prize money 50,000$ where she will begin from the qualifyings. There she has to defend points from the second round of the main draw.
